Why can't I access certain Chime products or features?

If you recently received your physical Chime card, make sure to activate it in the Chime app. For activation instructions, see Get started with your Chime cards.

Note: Certain products and features may require physical Chime card activation and are available only to eligible members. 

Which products and features may require card activation?
  • ACH transfer (Transfers to and from external bank accounts)
  • Outbound Instant Transfer 
  • Mail a Check
  • Mobile Check Deposit

Note: Pay Anyone and Inbound Instant Transfer may be available before physical Chime card activation with restricted limits.

I activated my card, but I still can't access a product or feature
