Any detail or documentation is considered new if you haven't previously shared it with Chime in the initial dispute or a prior rebuttal.
The following examples aren’t considered new information:
- initial statements or information already noted by previous agents
- identical answers to dispute filing questions
- duplicate documentation from the previous rebuttal request
Below are general examples of new information.
- Incorrect or missing data from the dispute Intake Form (provided during an RFD)
- Additional context such as circumstances around the transaction, relevant communications, and steps taken (often verbal and unaccompanied with written documentation, and may change depending on the dispute type)
- Different information regarding the location of your belongings (verbal or written)
- Receipt of purchase / Proof of purchase / Invoices
- Delivery or shipping details, confirmation email, and tracking number
- Documentation of your location (flight tickets, reservations, GPS history, hospital bills, prison record, or timesheet)
- Screenshots of your conversation with the merchant regarding the order(s)
- Police report
- Proof of delivery or tracking number
- Statement of the timeline of events
- Photos of the defective or damaged merchandise
- Description of the item on the merchant's website, including a link to the page (verbal or written)
- Evidence that the price paid differs from the listed price
- Requests to cancel or stop the transaction with the merchant
