Change your password
To update your password in the Chime app or Chime.com:
Go to Profile > Personal info > Update password.
Enter your current password, then tap Next.
Enter your new password, then tap Next.
After you update your password, you’ll receive a confirmation email and text message. The next time you sign in, you’ll be prompted to create a new 4-digit mobile unlock passcode.
Password requirements
Your new password must:
Be at least 12 characters
Include a mix of letters, numbers, and at least one special character
Exclude personal information (like your name, birthdate, or email)
Be different from your current password
Reset your password
If you don’t remember your password or can’t access your account, you can reset it using the Chime app or at chime.com.
Reset your password in the Chime app
From the login screen, tap Log in.
Enter your email address, then tap Next.
Follow the prompts to reset your password or choose an alternate sign-in method.
Reset your password on chime.com
Go to the Forgot Password page.
Enter your email address and click Submit.
Enter the security code sent to your phone and click Submit.
Check your email and click Reset password.
Enter and confirm your new password.
If you’ve changed your phone number
During the reset process, select Update number and follow the prompts to verify your identity with a valid ID and update your phone number. For more details, visit How do I update my personal information on my Chime account? | Update your phone number.
