What happens if I lose Chime Plus?

If you lose Chime Plus status, you still have access to some of the great benefits that come with Chime, such as 24/7 support, Chime Deals2, Chime  Card3, and fee-free ATMs4. You can regain Chime Plus status by receiving either of the following:

  • At least one qualifying single direct deposit of $200 or more from an eligible source in the last 34 days
  • Qualifying direct deposits totaling $400 or more from eligible sources in the last 34 days

1To be eligible for Chime+™ status, you must receive a qualifying direct deposit to your Chime Checking Account in the preceding 34 days. Certain products marketed as Chime Plus benefits have additional eligibility requirements. See Chime Plus Terms and Conditions for details. Review official terms for more information.

2Eligible requirements and limits apply. See Chime Deals™ Terms and Conditions.

3To apply for a Chime Card, you must also open a Chime Checking Account.

4Out-of-network ATM withdrawal and over the counter advance fees may apply except at MoneyPass® ATMs in a 7-Eleven, or any Allpoint® or Visa® Plus Alliance ATM participating in the Allpoint network.
