Tips to make sure you get your cash back

To be eligible for cash back, keep the following in mind:

  • Activate the deal first. You must claim a deal in the Chime app before making your purchase.

  • Check the location. Deals are tied to a specific address — make sure you're shopping at the exact location listed in the deal.

  • Complete your purchase before the deal expires. Each deal has a limited time window.

  • Pay in full with your Chime card. If you split the cost with another payment method, you won't be eligible for cash back. If you'd like to use a food assistance benefit or another form of payment alongside your Chime card, make two separate transactions.
