How do I unlink an external account or debit card from my Chime Checking Account?

If you’ve linked an external account or debit card to your Chime Checking Account, you can remove it at any time. Here's how:


In the Chime app

  1. Open the Move tab.

  2. Select Manage linked accounts.

  3. Choose the three dots next to the account you want to remove.

  4. Select Unlink account/card.

  5. Confirm by selecting Unlink again.


On Chime.com

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Click your profile name in the top right corner.

  3. Go to Settings, then tap Linked accounts

  4. Click Unlink next to the account that you want to remove.
