If your Chime card is deactivated, replaced, or expired, it can no longer be used.
Why does your card no longer work?
A card may be deactivated if it was:
Replaced due to loss, theft, or damage
Expired
Replaced after a security issue
Note: Once a card is deactivated, it can’t be reactivated.
What to do with your deactivated card?
After you activated your new card and if you still have your deactivated card:
Destroy the deactivated card.
Cut through the chip and magnetic stripe
Throw the pieces away.
For extra security, dispose of them separately
Proper disposal of the card helps protect your account and personal information.
