When you link your Chime card to digital wallets, you can make payments without having your physical card present. You will need an active data plan or WiFi in order to make payments or transfers using a digital wallet.
Chime does not charge any fees for using your card with any digital wallet and the same card can be linked to multiple digital wallets.
The card linked to your digital wallet must be active in order to complete purchases. If your card has been marked as lost, you will be unable to complete transactions on your digital wallet.
You can also use your Chime card via your mobile wallet while traveling abroad. You may need to change the region on your device for it to recognize card readers outside of the United States.
