To confirm the communication you've received is from us, double-check the email address or look for the blue checkmark next to our name on X (Twitter), Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.

In addition, Chime will NEVER

  • Ask you for personal information, such as:
    • Full Social Security Number (We may ask for the last four digits.)
    • Account or routing numbers
    • Debit or credit card number/information (We may ask for the last four digits of a card number.)
    • PIN
    • Username or password
  • Request money in exchange for services
  • Refer to ourselves as “Chime Banking”
  • Refer to our Member Services agents as “ambassadors” or “reps”
