How do I activate my card?

You can activate your card in your Chime app or by phone as soon as you receive it.

Chime app:

      1. Find the widget that says Your card has been delivered on the home screen.
      2. Tap Activate.
      3. Enter your card’s CVV (this is the three-digit number next to the signature strip on the back).
      4. Set and confirm your PIN.

You can also activate your card in Settings:

      1. Go to your Settings.
      2. Tap Account Settings.
      3. Access the card you want to activate:
      4. Tap Activate new card under View your card.
      5. Enter your card’s CVV.
      6. Set and confirm your PIN.

By phone:

Call (844) 244-6363 and follow the prompts.

What can I do if I’m still having trouble activating my card?

Tap the question mark icon on the app’s home screen to visit the Support Center. From there, tap Chat and ask ChimeBot for help.

What if I’m having technical issues with the app?

If the app is showing error messages, try closing it and reopening it in a few minutes.

I just found my card after reporting it as lost. Can I reactivate it?

We can’t reactivate cards marked lost or stolen. However, your temporary card information is available in your Chime app. You can use it to make purchases and pay bills online before your new card arrives.
