You can instantly transfer money from your external debit card to your Chime Checking Account. This allows you to have quick access to your money when you need it.
Before you can start transferring money, make sure you link your external debit card to your Chime account.
Once your external debit card is successfully linked:

- Tap Move in your Chime app.
- Tap the Transfer money button to access the Transfer page.
- Select the external debit card you want to transfer money from.
- Enter the amount you wish to transfer.
- Confirm the transaction.

The transfer process typically takes just a few minutes to complete. There may be times when instant transfers are delayed due to network timing or other factors beyond our control.
What is my instant transfer limit?
You can check your specific transfer limit in your account settings. Your limit is based on your Checking Account history and there is no way to manually increase this limit.
To check your limit:

Note: If you don’t have direct deposit set up, adding an eligible direct deposit to your Chime Checking Account can help increase your instant transfer limit.
