How do I link an external debit card to transfer money into my Chime Checking Account?

There are two ways to link your external debit card through the Chime app: 

Via the Move tab:

1. Tap the Move tab.

2. Tap Transfer Money.

3. Tap From.

4. Select Add another account.

5. Select Debit Card.

6. Follow the prompts to link your external debit card.

Note: The external debit card must be in your name to be successfully linked.

For initiating instant transfers, Chime doesn't accept:

• Credit cards

• International cards

• Chime debit cards - you can’t use your Chime debit card to fund transfers into your Chime account.

• Gift cards
