Link an external bank account
Chime uses Plaid to connect external bank accounts. Plaid supports thousands of U.S. banks. The name and address on your external account must match the name and address on your Chime account for the link to succeed.
In the Chime app:
Tap Move > Transfer Money.
Tap the From dropdown, then tap Add a bank account and follow the prompts.
On chime.com:
Click Move Money > Link a New Account.
Click Continue on the Plaid screen and follow the prompts.
Link an external debit card
You can link an external debit card for instant transfers. The debit card must be in your name and linked to a bank account that's already connected to Chime.
Tap Move > Transfer Money.
Tap the From dropdown, then tap Add a debit card and follow the prompts.
Supported and unsupported card networks:

Unlink an external account or debit card
In the Chime app:
Tap Move > Manage linked accounts.
Tap the three dots next to the account or card you want to remove.
Tap Unlink account/card, then confirm by tapping Unlink.
On chime.com:
Click Profile > Linked accounts > Unlink next to the account or card you want to remove.
What banks does Chime support?
Chime supports transfers from any bank connected through Plaid. Availability can vary depending on your bank and account type. You can check if your bank is supported during the linking process in the app.
