How do I accept a Pay Anyone transfer if I’m not a Chime member?

Non-members can claim Pay Anyone transfers from Chime members in two ways:

    • Sign up for a Chime Checking Account: Follow the instructions in the email or landing page to open a Chime Checking Account to claim your money
    • Use a debit card: Claim the transfer with any valid U.S.-issued debit card by entering your card details as prompted. If using a computer, you may need to disable ad blockers. For questions about the amount or payment status, contact the sender.

Please be aware that as a non-member, you must accept payments within 14 days, or the funds will be sent back to the sender.

Be careful and always protect yourself from scams. For more tips on staying safe, visit Trust and Safety in our Help Center and  How to Avoid Scams That Target Chime Members blog post.
