Can I file a dispute for a Pay Anyone transfer?

It's best to only use Pay Anyone for payments to friends you trust. If you don't receive goods or services from a merchant after a Pay Anyone transfer, you'll have to sort it out with them directly. Pay Anyone works like cash, so once a transfer is complete, Chime can't reverse it.

Similarly, Chime doesn’t accept disputes for Pay Anyone transfers mistakenly sent to the wrong person or for the wrong amount. If this happens, we suggest sending the person a payment request for the amount using Pay Anyone. If you suspect unauthorized activity on your Checking Account or an unapproved Pay Anyone transfer, call us immediately at (844) 244-6363.

Check your Deposit Account Agreement under Pay Anyone for details.
