You can update the email address associated with your account in the Chime mobile app.
To update your email address, follow the steps below.

- Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Tap Personal info.
- Tap the pencil icon next to your email address to edit.
- Enter your new email address.
- Tap Continue.
You may be asked to provide additional information to verify your account, such as a valid government-issued photo ID or other account information.

What if I forgot my email address?
If you’ve forgotten the email address associated with your Chime account, you can reset it using the Chime mobile app or at chime.com.
- Tap Need help? on the login screen.
- On the next screen, tap I forgot my email address.
- Enter the phone number associated with your Chime account.
- You will receive a text message with the email address at the phone number associated with your Chime account, which you can use to login.
- Go to the Forgot email address page.
- Enter the phone number associated with your Chime account and click Next.
- You will receive a text message with the email address at the phone number associated with your Chime account, which you can use to login.
What if I no longer have access to the email address associated with my account?
If you know the password to your account, you can still log in to Chime using the email address on file (even if you no longer have access to it). Once you’re logged in, follow the steps at the top of this article to update the email address.
