What happens if my dispute is denied?

If Chime denies your dispute, the transaction will stay in your account history. If you received a temporary credit, it will be removed five business days from the final notification.

In some cases, you may still be able to resolve your dispute by contacting the merchant directly. Many merchants have their own policies for addressing problems such as incorrect charges, missing items, or product or service issues. If you explain what happened—and share any proof—the merchant may be able to offer a refund, replacement, or alternative solution.

If you have new information that was not included in your original dispute, you might be able to file for reinvestigation. To learn what qualifies as new information, visit What counts as new information in a dispute?
