Can I use my card outside of the United States?

Yes. You can use your Chime card in most countries where Visa is accepted, as long as international transactions are enabled. Learn How can I enable or disable transactions on my card?


Chime does not charge foreign transaction fees.


Your transactions will not work in the following countries, even if your international transactions are enabled: 

  • Afghanistan (AF)

  • Belarus (BY)

  • Central African Republic (CF)

  • Congo, (Kinshasa) (CD)

  • Cuba (CU)

  • Eritrea (ER)

  • Ethiopia (ET)

  • Iran, Islamic Republic of (IR)

  • Iraq (IQ)

  • Korea, North (KP)

  • Lebanon (LB)

  • Libya (LY)

  • Mali (ML)

  • Myanmar (Burma) (MM)

  • Nicaragua (NI)

  • Russian Federation (RU)

  • Somalia (SO)

  • South Sudan (SS)

  • Sudan (SD)

  • Syrian Arab Republic (Syria) (SY)

  • Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic) (VE)

  • Yemen (YE)


For security reasons, you will also be unable to access your account on the app or the website if your location or IP address is from any of the following countries:
