How do I reset my password if I can't log in?

If you need to reset your password but can’t log in or don’t remember it, you can do so through the Chime app or at chime.com.

Chime app

1. Open the Chime app and tap Log in.

2. On the login screen, tap Need help? and select I forgot my password.

3. Enter the email address associated with your account, then tap Submit.

4. You’ll receive a security code by text. Enter the code in the Chime app, then tap Submit.

5. After verifying your phone number, you’ll get an email with a password recovery link.

6. Open the email and tap Reset Password to create a new password.

Chime.com

1. Go to the Forgot Password page.

2. Enter the email address associated with your account and click Submit.

3. You’ll receive a security code by text. Enter the code, then click Submit.

4. After verifying your phone number, you’ll receive a password recovery link via email.

5. Click Reset Password in the email to create a new password.

The next time you sign in to the Chime app, you’ll be prompted to create a new four-digit mobile unlock passcode.
