You can dispute most transactions in the Chime app, but certain transaction types are not eligible for disputes, including:
- Bill payments you make with Chime Checkbook
- Paper checks you mail from your Chime app
- Round-up transfers to your Chime Savings Account
- Account adjustments made by Chime or another bank (like chargebacks or ATM balance corrections)
- Transactions that were declined or are still pending
- Expired authorizations (when a hold falls off but the charge never posts)
- Temporary credits that were later removed after investigation
- SpotMe transactions or repayments
- Government holds like wage garnishments or levies
- MyPay fees or repayments that you don’t recognize
- Dispute requests made by an unverified member or third-party caller
