If you dispute a charge from a previous Credit Builder / Chime Card statement or one that spans multiple billing cycles, we’ll exclude the disputed amount from your next statement while we investigate, in accordance with Regulation Z. The disputed charge will not be included in your minimum payment amount and will not be reported as past due or late to the credit bureaus during the investigation.
- If your dispute is approved, Chime will apply a final credit to your account, and any additional refunded amount will be added to your Available to Spend balance.
- If your dispute is denied, your next statement will reflect the amount you owe.
Your Credit Builder / Chime Card statement shows disputed charges by transaction date at the bottom. The summary section will reflect any adjustments made during the investigation.
