The Achievements hub in the Chime app helps you build strong money habits by completing simple challenges and earning digital badges. Badges are digital medals that celebrate your progress and have no cash value.
In this hub, you can explore challenges, automatically track your progress, and celebrate milestones in one place.
How it works
You may access the Achievements hub from the home screen of your Chime app. When you open the Achievements hub, you will see:
A featured challenge at the top.
Types of challenges, such as Quick wins, Healthy habits, Big swings, and Weekly saver.
Your completed badges and current progress.
Note: Chime does not create challenges that require you to increase spending or meet minimum spend thresholds.
Types of challenges
The challenges in the Achievements hub are designed to help you build positive money habits. They fall under the following categories:
Quick wins: Simple, one-step actions to get started.
Examples:
Auto saver: Round up purchases to save spare change. Completes after the first qualifying purchase.
Paycheck saver: Split pay to automatically save part of a paycheck by automatically sending it into your Savings account.
Goal getter: Create a savings goal with a target amount.
Healthy habits: Challenges that help you build consistency.
Examples:
Dine out detox: Spend $0 on eating out during a weekend.
Savings spike: Save more than you spend in one week.
Goal tracker: Ongoing savings goal progress.
Big swings: Bigger milestones that make a meaningful impact.
Examples:
Monthly saver: Deposit $50 within 30 days. This is 30 days, not a calendar month.
Goooaaal!: Complete a savings goal within 30 days.
Deal maker: Use two Chime Deals within 30 days. It may take up to 10 days for your Deal maker progress to appear in the app after completing qualifying Chime Deals
Weekly saver: Small, weekly deposits over four weeks in a row.
Examples:
Weekly saver 1: Save $5 per week for four weeks.
Weekly saver 2: Save $10 per week for four weeks.
Weekly saver 3: Save $15 per week for four weeks.
Your activity in Savings, Spending, and Credit automatically counts toward eligible challenges. You do not need to manually track your progress.
Note: You may receive notifications to help you stay on track with your goals or to let you know when you’re close to completing a challenge. These reminders are meant to support healthy financial habits. You can update your notification preferences at any time in your app settings.

Each challenge will show one of these statuses based on your progress:
