Important: Only active Chime Card holders with Chime Plus or Chime Prime status are eligible for cash back rewards.
You can earn cash back rewards1 on select rotating categories each quarter. You will be able to choose from six rewards categories with a monthly spending limit of up to $1,500 for each month. The current categories are:
Grocery stores
Gas
Monthly bills (utilities, cable, streaming, etc.)
Restaurants
Rideshare & Taxi
Travel
Categories are also accessible in the Chime app.
If you have Chime Plus status2, you are eligible for 2% in cash back rewards. If you have Chime Prime status, you are eligible for 5% in cash back rewards.
