How do I update my Chime app to access Chime Plus?

Chime Plus is available on app version 5.265.0 or higher. If you’re on an older version, follow these steps to update your app.

How to Update the Chime App

For iOS (iPhone & iPad):

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon (top-right corner).
  3. Scroll down to Available Updates.
  4. Find Chime and tap Update.

For Android:

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon (top-right corner).
  3. Select Manage apps & device.
  4. Under Updates available, find Chime and tap Update.

How to Enable Automatic Updates

To avoid missing future updates, turn on automatic updates:

  • iOS: Go to Settings > App Store > Turn on Automatic Updates.
  • Android: Go to Google Play Store > Settings > Auto-update apps > Select Over Wi-Fi only or Over any network.
