How do I update my address?

You can update the home address associated with your account in the Chime app. Keep in mind:
  • Your home address is where you live. It shows in your app and must be a valid residential address, not a business or P.O. box. It also must be registered with the U.S. Post Office.
  • Your shipping address is where you want to get mail from Chime, like cards. It can be a P.O. box.

You can update the address associated with your account in the Chime mobile app. 

To update your address, follow the steps below.

  1. Go to Profile.
  2. Tap Personal info.
  3. Tap the pencil icon next to your address to edit.
  4. Enter your new home address and tap Next.

You may be asked to provide additional information to verify your account, such as a valid government-issued photo ID or other account information. 


If your address isn't accepted: 
  • Check that the apartment or unit number is in the correct field.
  • Try changing how you formatted the address.
  • Search your address on Google Maps and enter it exactly how it shows there.
