You can close your secured Chime® Credit Builder account by contacting us (refer to How do I contact Chime customer service?).
To be safe and avoid a potentially negative impact on your credit score, we recommend covering the negative balance before closing the account.
Keep in mind that once we close an account for you, we cannot reopen it.
