What is SendSafely?

SendSafely is an end-to-end encryption tool that allows you to securely send and receive messages and documents via email. It works on any device and browser without needing to install anything on your computer. At Chime, we use SendSafely because:

• • Files are visible only to you and Chime Member Services agents.
  • Neither SendSafely nor other Chime team members can access your files.
  • SendSafely uses two-step authentication for added security.

How to view files using SendSafely

1. 1. 1. Open the email from Chime containing the document link. Click the link.
      2. Enter your email address on the SendSafely page and click Submit.
      3. Check your inbox for a six-digit verification code, then enter it on the page.
      4. Agree to the Terms of Service.
      5. Click Submit to view the attached file(s).
      6. Select and download your file(s).

How to send messages using SendSafely

1. 1. 1. Open the email from Chime containing the secure link. Click the link.
      2. Confirm that you see your email address on the SendSafely page.
      3. Click the box next to “Include a Secure Message.”
      4. In the message box, enter your message.
      5. Click Submit.
