Why can’t I access my account?

I can’t log in because I have a new phone number

In order to log in to the Chime app, you need a phone number to receive a confirmation code. If you can’t log in because you don’t have access to the phone number on your account, follow the steps outlined in this article. 

 

My account has been put on hold

Sometimes, if we detect unusual activity that may be happening on your account, we place a temporary hold on it until we can ensure your account is not compromised. The safety of our members’ money and information is a top priority. Once we’ve verified that the account is not compromised, we’ll get you back into the account right away. 

If you’re unable to access your account because there’s been a temporary hold, reach out to review@chime.com.
