How do I update my Chime app to access Chime+?

Chime+ is available on app version 5.265.0 or higher. If you’re on an older version, follow these steps to update your app.

How to Update the Chime App

For iOS (iPhone & iPad):

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon (top-right corner).
  3. Scroll down to Available Updates.
  4. Find Chime and tap Update.

For Android:

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon (top-right corner).
  3. Select Manage apps & device.
  4. Under Updates available, find Chime and tap Update.

How to Enable Automatic Updates

To avoid missing future updates, turn on automatic updates:

  • iOS: Go to Settings > App Store > Turn on Automatic Updates.
  • Android: Go to Google Play Store > Settings > Auto-update apps > Select Over Wi-Fi only or Over any network.
