How to add money with Apple Pay on Chime?

You can now use Apple Pay® to add money to your Chime account. It’s a quick and seamless way to transfer money using an eligible iOS device. Just make sure your Chime app is updated to version 5.249.1 or later and that you’ve added an external debit card to your Apple Wallet®.

Note: Apple Pay is not available for all members yet, even on eligible iOS devices.

Using Apple Pay works just like transferring money with a debit card:

  1. Open the Chime app and tap Move.
  2. Select Transfer money.
  3. Choose Apple Pay as the payment source.

Note: Standard transfer limits apply with Apple Pay.
