What counts as Qualifying Direct Deposits?

The deposit must be sent via Automated Clearing House (ACH) deposit or Original Credit Transaction (OCT) and must come from the following:

    • Employer or payroll provider
    • Gig economy payer, or 
    • Government benefits (like Social Security)

The following transactions are NOT considered as Qualifying Direct Deposits:

    • ACH transfers from other accounts
    • Transfers using Pay Anyone
    • Verification or trial deposits from banks
    • Transfers from third-party apps, e.g., PayPal, Cash App, or Venmo
    • Mobile check deposits
    • Cash deposits
    • One-time deposits, like tax refunds
