How Do I Set Up and Manage Split Your Pay?

Split Your Pay makes it easy to divide your direct deposit (DD) between your Savings, Credit Builder, and Checking Accounts. Whether you're saving for a goal, building credit, or managing day-to-day expenses, you can set your preferred percentages and adjust them whenever your needs change.

How to set up Split Your Pay

  1. Open the Chime app.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Direct deposit setup.
  4. Tap Split Your Pay.
  5. Tap Edit.
  6. Choose the percentage of your direct to go into each account: Savings, Credit Builder, and Checking. If you only have two accounts, you can only allocate funds between those accounts.
Note: The total allocation percentages cannot exceed 100%.
  7. Once allocations are set, tap Save

You can manage and update your allocations anytime.
