Through the Chime app:
From the home screen, tap Move Money.
Tap Set up direct deposit.
Copy your routing number and account number and share them with your payer.
Alternatively, you can find your routing and account number info via Profile > Account Info in the app.
You can also tap Get completed form to generate a PDF with your Chime account information. We’ll email it to you so you can share it with your employer.
Through Chime.com:
Click your name in the upper right corner, then go to Settings.
Click Account info.
Copy your routing number and account number and share them with your payer.
From the Settings page, you can also click Direct deposit setup, then Get completed form to provide your employer a completed direct deposit form. The completed direct deposit form includes a voided check, which some employers may require to verify your account. You can email a copy of the form to yourself from the Setup Direct Deposit page in the Chime app or on Chime.com, or print the form and give it to your employer or payer if required.
Another option is to try to locate your employer in the app and complete setup directly—if your employer or payroll provider is supported. Tap Find employer and follow the steps. It may take up to two pay cycles for your payroll provider to complete the switch to Chime. Until your first direct deposit arrives, you’ll see a message in the app reminding you to set up direct deposit. This message will disappear once the switch is complete and you receive your first direct deposit to Chime. If you can’t find your employer, you can still set up direct deposit manually by providing your employer with your Chime account’s routing and account numbers.
Note: If you need to provide the address of the bank to your payer, give them the name and address of the Chime partner bank that holds your deposits. You can view this information in your completed direct deposit form.
