I just opened my Chime Spending Account! How long until my Chime Visa Debit Card arrives?
After you open a Spending Account, we get started on personalizing your Chime Visa Debit Card. Your Chime Visa Debit Card is usually placed in the mail within one (1) business day after you open your Spending Account. It typically takes 7-8 business days (i.e., excluding weekends and holidays) for your Chime Visa Debit Card to arrive at your home address.
If you don't have your Chime Visa Debit Card 8 business days after opening your Spending Account, contact Chime:
- Using the Chatbot in your Chime Mobile App
- Calling us at 1-844-244-6363
After we verify your home address, we'll send a replacement Chime Card.
I've misplaced my Chime Visa Debit Card. Is it possible to turn off my card?
If your Chime Visa Debit Card is ever lost or stolen, you can temporarily block it:
- Open the Chime app
- Go to Settings and turn off Chime Card Transactions.
- Get a new card:
- Go to Settings and click "Replace My Card"

How do I activate my Chime Visa Debit Card?
If you are using the Chime mobile app (version 3.3 or later), you can activate your card directly through the app:
- After you log in, you should see a card widget at the top of the app that says "Card Status"
- In the widget, you should see a big green button that says "Activate Card".
- If you do not see this button, ask the Chatbot "Activate my card"
- Chatbot is available from the top right corner of the home screen
