What are my spending and cash withdrawal limits?

The total amount of money you can withdraw or spend each day is limited, but you can make as many individual withdrawals or spending transactions as you like each day. When you first open an account through Chime, you'll have the following spending and withdrawal limits:

Transaction type

Dollar limit

ATM withdrawals

$515 per day*

Over-the-counter (OTC) withdrawals

$515 per day*

Card purchases (signature and PIN) and point-of-sale cash withdrawals

$2,500 per day

You should keep in mind that the following things count toward your daily purchase dollar limit:

      • Any fees incurred
      • Any ATM and OTC cash withdrawals
      • Money withdrawn at a point-of-sale
      • Purchases

These limits may change at any time, and we’ll notify you by email if they do. You can view your current limits by following these steps:

      1. Open your Chime app
      2. Tap Settings
      3. Tap View limits

Each of your daily withdrawal and spending limits will reset at midnight Mountain Standard Time (MST) after you reach them.

*ATM owner-operators, merchants, and participating banks may impose their own lower limits on cash withdrawals.
