How do I add money to my Credit Builder account?

You can use your Chime app to transfer money into your Credit Builder secured account.

From the home screen

Tap the green button that says Move money to Credit Builder.

      • Select how much of your future deposits you want transferred automatically to your Credit Builder secured account.
      • If you’d rather make a one-time transfer, tap I’d rather start small and choose an amount to move.

From the Move Money screen:

      1. Tap Transfer funds.
      2. Enter the amount you’d like to move.
      3. Make sure you’re transferring from Chime Checking to Credit Builder.
      4. Tap Transfer.

Your available-to-spend amount is displayed on your app’s home screen under Credit Builder Card.

If you’re still having trouble transferring money, close the app and try again a few minutes later. Still need help? In your app, tap the question mark icon, then tap Chat, or call (844) 244-6363.
