How does Experian Boost® work?

When your Chime account is connected to Experian and you use Experian Boost®*, you may be able to improve your FICO® Score** simply by paying your bills on time. Qualifying bills include:

      • Utilities like gas, electricity, and water
      • Phone
      • Internet
      • Trash
      • Certain streaming services including Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+

Here’s what happens when you use Experian Boost:

      1. Experian scans your transaction history for qualifying merchants.
      2. It then looks for three consecutive on-time payments that you made to those merchants within six months.
      3. Experian then adds these payments to your credit profile to help improve your FICO® Score.
