How do I update my phone number?

You can update the phone number associated with your account in the Chime mobile app.   

To update your phone number, follow the steps below.

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Next to Personal info, tap Edit.
  3. Tap your phone number, enter your new phone number and tap Next.

You may be asked to provide additional information to verify your account, such as a valid government-issued photo ID or other account information.

What if I no longer have access to the phone number associated with my account or cannot receive a 2FA SMS to the number?

If you’re unable to verify your account successfully, or if you have trouble updating your phone number, or cannot successfully do so, please contact us at (844) 244-6363 or support@chime.com.
