Pending transactions are transactions that haven’t fully settled in your account. They reduce your available balance, but are not final until settled. Merchants can still cancel, expire, or change the dollar amount of Pending transactions(for example, if a tip is added at a restaurant). They may take several days to settle, which is when the transaction becomes complete and the money has been sent to the merchant in full.
If a pending transaction is canceled or expired before it settles, it can take up to 7 days for the pending transaction amount to be returned to your available balance.
Where can I see pending transactions?
In your Chime app, tap View Transactions, and any pending transactions you have will be at the top.
