How do I manage my Safer Credit Building settings?

You can check or update your Safer Credit Building settings in the Chime app:
  1. Tap Profile
  2. Tap Account details
  3. Tap Credit Builder or Chime Card payment
  4. Tap Safer Credit Building

From here, you can turn Safer Credit Building on or off, or change when payments are made (for example, 1 day or 10 days after your statement is issued, if available).

If you turn off Safer Credit Building, you’ll need to make manual payments on time each month. You can make a payment in the app by selecting the account you want to pay from.
