To earn cash back with Chime Deals, follow these steps:
Tap Deals on your Chime app’s home screen.
Select the Chime Deals category you’d like to explore In the Find deals tab, use the map to view nearby offers.
Tap Activate
Note: Make your purchase using your physical Chime card at the retailer within the deal’s time window. Most Chime Deals require your physical Chime card; digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay may not qualify, depending on the terms of the deal.
Your cash back will be deposited into your Chime Checking Account within 10 business days after the transaction is verified and settled. Make sure to activate each deal before you shop to qualify for cash back.

If you didn’t receive cash back from a Chime Deal*, check the terms of the individual deal. It may be due to one of the following:
The address didn’t match: Many deals are tied to specific merchant locations. If the deal is tied to a specific location, the business address on your receipt must match the one listed in the Chime app.
You didn’t activate the deal first: You must activate the deal in the Chime app before making your purchase. Only purchases made during the deal’s active time window are eligible.
The deal expired: Each deal has a specific time window. If your purchase was made after the deal expired, it won't qualify for cash back. You can check the timer in the app to confirm how much time you have left.
You used a digital wallet: Only purchases made with your physical Chime card are eligible for certain deals. Transactions for deals made via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other digital wallets may not qualify, depending on the terms of the deal. This detail will be shown on the terms and conditions for that specific deal.
You used the Upside app: Due to our partnership with Upside, Chime Deals can only be claimed through the Chime app. If you already made a claim for the same Chime deal through the Upside app, it won’t be available in Chime.
You split your payment: The full transaction must be paid using your physical Chime card. Splitting the payment with another method makes the purchase ineligible for cash back. Most Chime Deals require your physical Chime card; digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay may not qualify, depending on the terms of the deal. For all other Chime Deals, check the merchant’s offer details for eligible payment methods.
