Access your return through the Chime app
If you filed your taxes through Chime last year, you can access your return directly in the app.
Scroll to the bottom of the Chime home screen.
Under Discover more, tap Taxes.
Under Manage, tap Tax Documents.
Tap Tax Filing to access your tax filing partner's page.
Depending on which partner you used, you may or may not be able to view your documents in the app. If you don't see your return, use the IRS method below.
Access your return through the IRS
The IRS keeps records of all your filed returns and transcripts. This method works regardless of which tax preparer or software you used.
Go to IRS.gov.
Select Get your tax record.
Follow the prompts to view or download your prior-year return or transcript.
If you don't have your full return, an IRS tax transcript also includes your Ajusted Gross Income (AGI) and is accepted for most filing purposes.
Finding your AGI
Your AGI is on your prior-year Form 1040, Line 11. You'll need it to verify your identity when filing and to upload your prior-year return for faster processing.
If you didn't file taxes last year, enter $0 as your AGI when prompted.
