How can I opt out of sharing my personal information with Chime?

You can opt out by turning on the “Do not sell or share my personal information” toggle in the Chime app under Profile > Privacy, or by clicking the link in the footer of our homepage.


If you opt out while logged in, your preference will be saved to your user profile. If you opt out while not logged in (e.g., from our homepage), the setting will only apply to your current browser session and won’t be saved for future visits.


When you opt out, certain analytics and advertising trackers that may be considered a “sale” or “share” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) will be disabled.
